Experience: Will train.

Tasks

1. Load and unload goods.
2. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
3. Perform emergency roadside repairs.
4. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
5. Perform preventive maintenance.
6. Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
7. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
8. Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

• Driver's License (Class 1 or A).

Documentation Knowledge

• Accident or incident reports.
• Bill of lading.
• Inspection reports (pre-trip, en route, post-trip).
• Maintenance and repair reports.
• Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
