Job summary

Best Bin Rentals & Disposal Ltd. seeks a Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver in Surrey, BC to join as a permanent full-time role. You will operate tractor-trailers, plan routes with GPS, and ensure cargo safety and securement. A Class 1 licence and 1–2 years of experience are required.

Tasks

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Mountain driving expertise

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
