The London Police Service seeks a Chief Administrative Officer to oversee Corporate Services divisions and support the Chief of Police. About the Position
The London Police Service (LPS) is seeking an experienced and strategic executive to serve as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Reporting directly to the Chief of Police, the CAO provides executive oversight of all Corporate Services divisions, including Financial Services, Human Resources, Fleet, Facilities, Strategic Services, Information Technology, and Corporate Support and Continuous Improvement.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CAO plays a vital role in advancing the organizational mission by driving administrative excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic priorities. The CAO supports the Chief of Police and London Police Services Board (LPSB) through expert advice, innovative solutions, and high-impact leadership that enhances performance across the Service.
While the terms and conditions of the CAO’s employment are governed by an individual contract of employment with the LPSB in accordance with Section 220 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, the position is under the authority and direction of the Chief of Police. Meeting the statutory requirements for exclusion, the individual who occupies this role will not be covered by the collective agreement between the Board and the Association for any purpose.
