Job summary

MAGroup Tecnickrome Aéronautique seeks a Quality Control Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing and finishing operations. The role acts as a technical quality resource, ensuring product compliance with customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The incumbent will verify product compliance, manage non-conformances, and coach inspectors. Strong knowledge of metrology, AS9100, and special processes, along with English and French fluency are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience in quality control in manufacturing; aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical standards.
• Knowledge of metrology, dimensional inspection, and measurement equipment.
• Good knowledge of AS9100; NADCAP experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of special processes (surface treatments, chemical processing, coatings, NDT, shot peening) is an asset.
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with manufacturing systems such as TCS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Verify product compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Analyze and manage non-conformances, internal rejects, MRB, rework, and customer returns, including investigations and follow-up.
• Evaluate warranty returns and support investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
• Act as a technical resource for inspectors, providing coaching and guidance.
• Review and validate repairs and overhaul activities against customer requirements and internal process capabilities.
• Develop, review, and maintain inspection methods, procedures, and inspection plans.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical Services, and Special Process teams to ensure process and product compliance.
• Provide technical quality support to production teams and participate in quality clinics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of compliance, customer satisfaction, integrity, and excellence.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical standards.
• Knowledge of metrology, dimensional inspection, and measurement equipment.
• Good knowledge of AS9100; NADCAP experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of special processes, such as surface treatments, chemical processing, coatings, NDT, shot peening, etc., is an asset.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, integrity, and teamwork.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound technical decisions based on applicable documentation.
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with TCS or a manufacturing management system is an asset.

Primarily office-based, with regular presence on the production floor and occasional handling of parts for inspection.
