Job description

Position Responsibilities

  • On-site logistical contact for events, tournaments, and bookings
  • Manage setup, take-down, and equipment needs across the CKC campus
  • Prepare spaces for daily use
  • Facilitate private bookings and birthday parties
  • Ensure the CKC field & grandstand is ready for rentals and events
  • Collaborate with user groups, the CKC dryland sports logistics supervisor, and the bookings coordinators to ensure all booking details are covered
  • Manage weekly equipment preventative maintenance schedules
  • Support event operations by assisting with setup, managing equipment, and ensuring cleanliness. Track inventory and communicate effectively to facilitate smooth event execution, allowing Logistics II to focus on planning and coordination.

Facility Support

  • Monitor safety
  • Assist patrons with inquiries
  • Ensure guests follow facility guidelines
  • Oversee spontaneous use areas like the track, fieldhouse, and aquatics to maintain a safe environment
  • Provide first aid in emergencies
  • Address safety issues
  • Perform general janitorial and maintenance duties as required

Qualifications

  • Valid Standard First Aid with CPR level C and AED is required

Hours

Casual, call-in basis with the specific schedule determined by the immediate supervisor.

Compensation

Starting Salary $26.32 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
