Logistics Sales Executive – Produce Focus

Our client’s business is growing, so they have an ongoing need to build and scale their Sales Team. As the Logistics Sales Executive – Produce Focus, you will join the division that focuses specifically on produce and refrigerated goods in Canada and the US markets. What’s unique about this role is you will be responsible for driving produce business growth by effectively developing a pipeline of potential customers in conjunction with the ideal customer profile of the business. You will focus on prospects in the US that ship produce products on refrigerated equipment both domestically and cross-border. Your role is to identify, prospect, and secure new customers. You will use a variety of different tools and methods, with the support of the entire organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Focus on prospecting and cold calling.
  • Build deep, meaningful, and rewarding relationships with your customers, striving to solve problems and fulfill customers’ needs.
  • Once you secure a new customer, partner with our client’s best-in-class Solutions Team, focusing deeply on your customers’ needs.
  • Continue finding new customers while receiving permanent commissions on every customer that you help our client partner with.
  • Define your successful career path and desired compensation.
Experience
  • A proven track record in sales with success in discussing quantitative and qualitative metrics.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset, but not required; ideally, you come with previous sales software experience to be data-driven and customer-focused.
  • A self-starter with initiative, prepared for cold calling and the ongoing pursuit of new customers.
  • A natural-born communicator with active listening and clear communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative, always looking for ways to ensure success for customers.
  • Endlessly curious, enjoying the thrill of the hunt for new customers and solutions.
  • No specific industry experience required, but demonstrated prior success in sales and cold calling is preferred.
