Overview

Join to apply for the Logistics Planning Support – Contract role at Labatt Breweries of Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) for all breweries
  • Manage flow of inbound materials to copack and repack plants nationwide including run-outs and transitions
  • Provide vacation cover for all breweries – when a team member is off, responsible for ordering packaging materials for that particular brewery
  • Responsible for ordering within the Inventory Policy for Primary & Secondary Packaging throughout the supply chain and setting medium term plans with suppliers and internal Labatt teams to attain that policy
  • Risk identification and contingency planning
  • KPIs include; Downtime Caused By Materials, PPA, On Time In Full, On-Time Utilization, Supplier Attainment, Materials Out-of-Range, Forecast Accuracy, and Customer Delivery Performance hits due to materials
  • Support MRP team on managing supplier inventory to avoid material obsolescence and reduce costs
  • Work cross-functionally with Labatt production planners, commercial team, breweries, procurement teams, and material resource planning team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities, and able to work cross-functionally with others
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management
  • Overview and Understanding of Supply Processes : Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory Management
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of Supply Chain processes, strategy, production / packaging capacities and related planning processes
  • Computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office Tools. Use of SAP, TMS (Transport Management System) etc. Experience with Power BI and EDI process is desirable.
