Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a highly organized Logistics Planner to coordinate outbound propane deliveries and optimize routes for crews and trucks.

You will monitor delivery progress, collaborate with branch operations and drivers, and use back-office systems to develop daily delivery plans and improve routing efficiency. The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, ERP and routing system proficiency, and cross-team communication in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain ops.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with drivers and teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Planning and Routing: Plan and optimize daily propane delivery routes for drivers and trucks.
• Operational Coordination: Work with branch ops, drivers, and customer service to ensure timely deliveries.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as on-time delivery and efficiency.
• Customer Service Support: Proactively communicate delivery changes to customers and teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve routing, scheduling, and driver productivity.
• Fleet and Driver Coordination: Schedule vehicle maintenance and ensure adequate delivery coverage.
