Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Manager Logistics in London, Ontario. The role oversees the efficient operation of accounts, P&L responsibilities, customer satisfaction, compliance, and safety.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Three years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry-related field.
- Two years or more managing and leading direct reports.

- Manage salaried and hourly employees, resolve performance issues, ensure policy compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and run account operations.
- Be responsible for payroll and weekly/monthly P&L analysis.

The Manager Logistics is responsible to manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts. This includes P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.
- Manage the performance of salaried employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.
- Be responsible for the payroll of employees.
- Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.
- Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
- Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
