Job description

Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Brampton site is looking for a new Logistics Coordinator to join our Contract Logistics team.

Your Role
The Logistics Coordinator is accountable for maintaining excellent service levels for our internal and external customers through accurate data entry, continuous process improvement and the prompt resolution of issues.
Your Responsibilities
  • You will ensure all orders are planned and prioritized to meet or exceed customer schedules
  • Keep the operations teams busy with work or advise them when work is limited
  • Notify Operations of all requested changes from the customer regarding scheduling, processing, and shipping
  • Ensure all customer orders are waved and processed in order of priority
  • Communicate with team leads to ensure all daily tasks are completed
  • Ensure daily pick workload tasks are completed and tasks are correctly processed in the system
  • Produce and maintain required reports

Your Skills and Experiences
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of order entry systems
  • WMS and customer service experience
