Position Description

At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Power Bus Way Team in Mississauga, ON. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of logistics operations.

What Will You Do?

  • Overseeing day-to-day logistics activities, including both shipping and receiving.
  • Coordinating transportation providers and loads.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock replenishment when needed.
  • Scheduling and tracking shipments and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Overseeing the packing slips scanned by Shipper/Receivers before orders go out to ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents.
  • Ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Maintaining accurate shipping records.
  • Communicating with suppliers, carriers, customers, as well as the Logistics Planner and other internal teams.
  • Answering customer inquiries.
  • Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes.
  • APICS supply chain certification would be an asset.
  • Experience using a TMS, ERP system, or other logistics management software.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communicator.
