Manage daily shipment activities, monitoring shipments to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
Planning outbound orders and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure delivery is completed.
Prepare and maintain shipment documents (BOL)
Maintaining and updating accurate information in company's operating systems, tracking shipment to completion
Coordinating daily carrier activities with customers and the operations team
Validating freight or accessorial charges for accounts to ensure billing accuracy
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, supply chain management, or related stream with a minimum 2 years’ work experience in Logistics or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Must be highly customer-focused to deliver timely service to all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-starter with the ability to take on new challenges
