Une entreprise de vêtements recherche un(e) responsable logistique à Mississauga. Vous serez chargé(e) de la gestion des commandes, de la logistique opérationnelle, de la supervision d'une équipe de 11 à 15 personnes, et de la formation de nouveaux employés. Le candidat idéal doit posséder d'excellentes compétences en communication et être capable de travailler sous pression dans un environnement rapide.

Tasks
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
  • Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects
  • Track and complete work orders
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects
  • Monitor production progress
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  • Project management
  • Provide customer service
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
