Qualifications

  • Ground transport experience is a requirement.
  • Bulk chemical and hazardous goods experience is an asset.

Position: Logistics Coordinator

Location : Delta, BC or Edmonton, AB

Workplace Flexibility : We require a presence in office of minimum 2 days

Status : Permanent, full-time (1)

As a Logistics Coordinator reporting to the Regional Logistics Manager, you will be a proactive and detail-oriented team member who supports our logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting to meet the needs of both clients and internal stakeholders.

What would be your main responsibilities as a Logistics Coordinator?

  • Tendering/issuing/tracking of Quadra orders to our carrier base.
  • Maintain meticulous records of shipment tracking, generate exception reports, and update the ERP system and internal stakeholders accordingly.
  • Collaborate with our internal customers ensure seamless coordination and support for logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders fostering strong partnerships and financial accountability along with effective problem-solving with carrier partners.
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and piece together information to present the optimal solution for the situation.
  • Manage the tracking of shipments, including trucking, intermodal and railcars, ensuring seamless transit from origin to destination.
  • Handle freight claims for damaged shipments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Secure Proof of Delivery documents for completed orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Uphold adherence to EH&S and quality protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Input data accurately into various software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, JD Edwards E1, Oracle Transportation Management System, and Microsoft Teams, facilitating efficient operations.

What are the requirements needed to have success in this position?

  • A College diploma or University certificate in transportation management, supply chain management or operations management would be considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supply chain or logistics role.
  • Ground transport experience is a requirement.
  • Bulk chemical and hazardous goods experience is an asset.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in inventory management, shipping documentation and other related tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Proficient with various computer applications and software, with strong ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent time management, proven ability to prioritize and to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously and demonstrate proactive initiative.

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $59,700 to $89,500. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
