Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for driving the daily execution of logistics routines to meet KPI goals. The position works closely with plant shipping leads and the customer service team to execute aligned plans, requiring frequent communication with key contacts.

When You Join Us You Will Be

• Drive the daily execution of the IKO logistics routine to meet established KPI goals.
• Manage Daily/Weekly dispatch of loads and aligning to commitments made with area logistics leads.
• Ensure accountability through routine follow-up with various stakeholders.
• Plan for success inside tactical window.
• Work closely with plant shipping leads and customer service team to execute the aligned plan on a daily basis.
• Create an open communication line daily with key contacts, both verbal and written.
• Build relationships with counterparts at carrier partners.
• Expedite and follow-up on all pick-ups and deliveries in service areas.

Our Ideal Candidate

• College Diploma or University degree in related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics.
• Results oriented, strong desire to drive improvement.
• Clear communicator, ability to lead discussions with large groups.
• Strong problem solving and planning skills to ensure creation and execution of tactical plan.
• Ability to negotiate and ask tough questions to get the right results.
• Desire, willingness, and capacity to learn.
• Strong business acumen.
