In this role, you will be responsible for duties such as order picking and packing, order processing, and other logistics support roles.

What You Will Do

• Manually pick full-case orders and stack them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet.
• Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completed.
• Use equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts to move pallets.
• Verify quantities, quality, and proper labeling of shipped items.
• Examine packaging and contents for conformance, verify information against packing lists and SAP.
• Coordinate with departments like customer service and production.
• Assemble shipping boxes, prepare and apply shipping labels, and load trailers.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in quantities.
• Maintain cleanliness of the picking area and manage order movement to the dock.
• Follow all safety and warehouse procedures and policies.

Position Details

• Main location: Mississauga (Tomken Rd./Eglinton Ave.).
• Periodic work at Mississauga (Tranmere Dr./Drew Rd.) based on business needs.
• Residence in Greater Toronto Area required.
• Work hours: Day Shift, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday; occasional afternoon shifts.
• Contract duration: 12 months.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 3 years of logistics experience.
• At least 3 years of reach lift fork truck experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• No immigration sponsorship available.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving in a warehouse.
• Proficiency with manual and electric pallet jacks, reach lifts, and sit-down forklifts.
• Analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
