AEM is looking for a highly motivated Logistics Assistant. This position reports to the Shipping and Logistics Operations Lead.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide logistics support: shipping and packing activities and receiving and inventory tasks including kitting of jobs
- Manufacture, assembly and testing of products
- Follow related Quality System controlled processes within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

Job Qualifications:
- Grade 12 education with similar industry experience
- Demonstrated track record of performing shipping and receiving tasks
- Demonstrated track record of performing diligent and accurate work
- Previous troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated computer knowledge and good understanding of computer system operation
- Displays a professional approach to technical tasks and teamwork
- Displays a professional approach to customers and providing customer service
- Forklift operator certificate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and a strong team player
- Good manual dexterity
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of ISO9001 based Quality Management Systems is desirable
- Experience in product testing is desirable
Additional Information:
This is an on-site opportunity that must be performed at our offices located in Victoria, British Columbia.
Must be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
