Job description

Overview:

At Greenhouse, our mission is to offer widespread, sustainable access to plant-based nutrition and wellness of the highest quality. We believe that growth is always possible and our purpose is cultivating healthy habits for thriving lives.

Greenhouse is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to support our logistics operations team. This role will assist with day-to-day coordination of inbound and outbound freight, carrier performance tracking, warehouse operations support, and cold chain compliance monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in supply chain and logistics operations within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven company.

Key Performance Outcomes:
  • Accurate and timely tracking of shipments, appointments, and delivery schedules across carriers and 3PL partners
  • Improved visibility into carrier performance (on-time delivery, SLA adherence, cold chain compliance)
  • Reduction in manual errors through better documentation and process support (BOLs, load confirmations, customs paperwork)
  • Support in identifying and helping resolve recurring operational issues (e.g., cold chain excursions, delivery delays, missing documentation)
  • Contribution to smoother day-to-day warehouse and carrier coordination
Statement of Work & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling pickups and deliveries with carriers and delivery partners, including requesting and confirming appointments (APPTs)
  • Help prepare and review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), load confirmations (LC), and customs invoices
  • Monitor and track shipments in transit and flag delays, exceptions, or service level issues
  • Assist with tracking PO due dates and coordinating with carriers/partners to ensure on-time delivery
  • Support investigations into service failures, damaged or rejected shipments, and QA‑related product returns
  • Help maintain accurate records for CHEP pallet tracking and inventory reconciliation
  • Assist in preparing reports and summaries on carrier performance, delivery metrics, and operational KPIs
  • Support communication and coordination between internal teams (warehouse, customer service, staging) and external partners (carriers, 3PLs, brokers)
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Logistics Manager as needed
  • Assist with ad hoc projects related to process improvement, cost analysis, or logistics network optimization
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Graduated from a program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (comfortable with formulas, data organization, basic reporting)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate professionally with external partners
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
  • Experience with route planning or logistics software is an asset, but not required
  • Prior experience or coursework in transportation, cold chain/food logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team

Annual Compensation Range: $$55,000.00 CAD - $65,000.00 CAD
