Job summary

UAP Inc. is seeking an engaged professional to join the Operational Excellence team in Montreal. You will support Continuous Improvement Specialists and the analytics center, contributing to strategic initiatives and projects across 600 stores and 15 distribution centers.

The role involves analyzing performance indicators, aiding with layouts and process automation, and documenting procedures while deploying new policies. Collaboration with internal clients across Canada is essential.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in operations management, mathematics, statistics, engineering, actuarial science, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, project management, planning, or continuous improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance indicators related to store and distribution center operations.
• Support the design of layouts, product slotting, and process automation.
• Document processes, procedures, and training modules, and contribute to identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
• Actively participate in the deployment and follow-up of new procedures or policies.
• Prepare performance reports, analyze variances, and communicate with management teams.
• Ensure continuous updates to documentation related to operational processes

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written. You will collaborate regularly with internal clients across Canada.
