Urgent and Primary Care Centres (UPCC) provide care for people with urgent, non-life-threatening health concerns that need same-day care but do not require a visit to the emergency department. Medical staff and healthcare professionals work in teams. The centres are an additional community service, collaborating with all care points. VCH currently operates six UPCCs.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full license
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Preferred
