Roseway Hospital (RH) provides health care services to approximately 15,000 Shelburne County residents including inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care as well as primary, ambulatory, and emergency care.

Located in Shelburne, RH has 19 inpatient beds and works closely with other health care facilities in Yarmouth, Kentville, Liverpool, Bridgewater, and Halifax. Shelburne County also has a new collaborative practice clinic that provides the opportunity to mentor medical residents enrolled in the Dalhousie Family Medicine Program.

RH provides a range of primary and secondary services through in-patient, outpatient, and satellite programs:

Job Description

Roseway Hospital is seeking Physicians to provide Locum coverage during a period of active recruitment.

Compensation is provided by the service, and locum physicians are eligible to access the travel elements of the program, including reimbursement for kilometrage (within the Atlantic provinces), per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim facility on call fees under specific conditions.
