Practice Description

Santé Ouest Community Health Centre, a multidisciplinary team-based clinic in Kitsilano, serves the francophone population of the Lower Mainland, providing primary, low-barrier, culturally safe, and coordinated care. The clinic offers longitudinal services including mental health and addiction support. The patient demographics include francophone newcomers, LGBTQ2S+ and Indigenous individuals, isolated seniors, youth, and other groups facing barriers to healthcare access in the English-speaking primary care system. The population is diverse in terms of immigration status, ethnicity, gender, income, etc.

The clinic adopts a holistic approach, conducting appointments both virtually and in person to enhance accessibility. Facilities include 4 exam rooms and 1 charting room. The multidisciplinary team comprises 3 physicians, supported by 2 nurse practitioners, 2 registered nurses, 2 social workers, and 3 medical office assistants.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
  • Parking/Transit: Underground pay parking and some free street parking; easily accessible by transit
