Job summary

Interior Health Authority is seeking multiple locum anaesthesiologists to join Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops as the department expands. Expect full practice with on-call duties and potential extended time off for local recreation.

The team provides anesthesia care across multiple surgical disciplines and participates in resident teaching. Qualified candidates will hold FRCSC in Anesthesiology, a Doctorate in Medicine, and CMPA coverage.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) - Anesthesiology.
• Doctorate in Medicine.
• Coverage with the CMPA is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide Anaesthesia Care for a broad range of surgeries as part of the Royal Inland Hospital Department of Anaesthesiology.
• Support pediatric and adult trauma cases with Anesthesiology Assistants and a strong teaching component for residents.
