Job summary

Chilliwack General Hospital, part of Fraser Health, is recruiting a full-time Anesthesiologist to join a 6-member department. The successful candidate will participate in a broad range of procedures and share on-call duties with colleagues.

You must be eligible for full licensure with CPSBC/FRCPC eligibility. The role supports diverse surgical services including general, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology and dental cases.

Qualifications

• FRCPC eligibility and CPSBC full license eligibility required.
• FRCPC eligibility implies eligibility for practice in BC.
• CPSBC full license eligibility required for independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Join a department of 6 anesthesiologists (FTEs).
• Share on-call responsibilities equally among the members.
• Provide anesthesia for General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology and Dental surgeries.
