Duties And Responsibilities

1. Travel with aircraft when dispatched while on fire contract, by ground or air
2. Conduct planned and unplanned field maintenance of the aircraft
3. Perform daily checks
4. Maintain spares, inventory, and ordering for parts trailer as required
5. Operate truck and trailer when aircraft is repositioned
6. Participate in on-the-job and external training programs
7. Nurture a safe working culture and compliance with our Safety Management System and other company documentation
8. Other duties as required

Requirements

1. A&P license or ability to acquire
2. Ability to interpret technical publications
3. Ability to obtain a CDL Class A drivers license (pick up and trailer combo only)
4. C130 maintenance background preferred. All previous industry experience will be considered for similar aircraft types, and years of commercial aviation experience
5. Valid Driver’s License and Passport
6. Ability to travel internationally on predetermined work schedules
