Job summary

Autism Services in Canada seeks a Skilled Labourer trainee to assist underground facilities locators, shadowing and learning SaskTel, SaskEnergy, and SaskPower locating tasks across SK. Emphasis on safety, quality, and strong customer service is required.

The role requires a recent graduate or current student with initiative, valid driver’s license, ability to work independently or in a team, good organization and computer skills, and a positive client-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Be a recent high school or post-secondary graduate seeking work experience as a Skilled Labourer.
• Be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.
• Hold a valid Drivers license and clean Drivers Abstract as travel is a requirement of this position.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong computer and technical skills.
• Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude towards MEC clients, stakeholders, and employees.
