Job summary

Autismservices is looking for a recent high school or post-secondary graduate for the position of Skilled Labourer in Regina, Canada. You will assist and job shadow the Underground Facilities Locators while receiving hands-on training with utilities such as SaskTel, SaskEnergy, and SaskPower.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a valid driver's license, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude towards customer service. Travel is required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Be a recent high school or post-secondary graduate seeking work experience.
• Hold a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Application Information

Responsibilities

• Be responsible to assist and job shadow the Underground Facilities Locators
• Be trained and mentored in all aspects of performing underground facilities locating for SaskTel, SaskEnergy, and SaskPower utilities for customers across SK.
• Ensure a high level of customer service, quality and safety are upheld
• Will be working in both urban and rural areas across the province

Qualifications

• Be a recent high school or post-secondary graduate seeking work experience as a Skilled Labourer. Candidates who are currently in the workforce already may also apply.
• Be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.
• Hold a valid Drivers license and clean Drivers Abstract as travel is a requirement of this position.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong computer and technical skills
• Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude towards MEC clients, stakeholders, and employees.
