Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Canada is seeking a Driver to safely pick up and deliver tires and materials between facilities. You will operate tractor-trailer units on local shuttle routes and support Goodyear's manufacturing processes with rotating 8-hour shifts.

Qualified candidates have 6+ months driving experience, a valid Class 1 license, a high school diploma, and must be legally eligible to work in Canada. No relocation offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ months driving experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver tires, rubber and related loads between Goodyear facilities and other destinations as needed
• Assist with loading/unloading and use of forklift where required
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure delivery documentation is complete
• Keep maintenance records up to date for assigned equipment
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
• Handle manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending and squatting as needed
