Job summary

Convoy Supply Ltd in Mississauga is seeking a self-sufficient CDL driver to join our team. You will complete scheduled deliveries and pickups, inspect and load/unload, and use Samsara to ensure safety and efficiency.

This role requires a Class AZ/DZ license, a clean driver’s abstract, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. We value safety, teamwork, and exceptional customer service while offering a supportive, growth-oriented environment with a strong benefits package.

Position Summary

If you know anything about the construction business, you know that getting the right products to the right site on time and safely is the benchmark of success. It is both challenging and rewarding work. We are Team Convoy, and we want folks with great people skills on our team because, in the end – people make all the difference.

We're looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL Driver for our Mississauga location at 195 Statesman Drive who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Ensure load securement including installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport

Requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class AZ/DZ Driver's License with driver's abstract
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
• Experience with a truck mounted forklift (Moffett) is an asset
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Knowledge in legal truck weights and weight displacement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
