Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and bondable status.
• Clean driving record with minimal demerits and no major incidents.
• Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within 3 months to 1 year).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and load securement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across city/local routes
• Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Winnipeg in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Operate straight truck equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load‑securement standards
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including e‑logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
• Maintain compliance with hours‑of‑service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
• Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required
