Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Professional, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Deliver to retail stores and grocery locations.
• Complete dock-to-dock deliveries and unload pallets using an electric pallet jack (reefer or dry van).
• Perform precise backing maneuvers in tight spaces.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with all safety regulations.
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational requirements.
• For the evening shift, some waiting time during pickups should be expected.
