Allied Universal is seeking Lobby Ambassador in Oshawa ,Ontario

Job Title: Lobby Ambassador

Job Location: Oshawa ,Ontario

Job Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.05 per hour

Shifts: 0600-1800 on alternating days of the week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as thefirst impressionof the building by warmly greeting and assisting all client staff, contractors, and visitors.
  • Deliveroutstanding customer servicewith a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Proactively resolve issues and escalate concerns as needed with tact and professionalism.
  • Manage access for contractors and visitors in accordance with site protocols.
  • Conduct daily audits to ensure all access cards are accounted for and follow up on any discrepancies.
  • Enforce strict access control and safety protocols.
  • Safeguard individuals and property, preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
  • Escort personnel throughout the building as required.
  • Monitor security systems including access control, alarms, and CCTV.
  • Respond promptly to emergency codes and alarms, supporting life safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of security incidents.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support site operations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years (to obtain Nuclear Clearance).
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of security experience in a corporate setting.
  • Reception or front desk experience is an asset.
  • Preference for candidates with Police Foundations education or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to complete AUS training courses (Effective Communications, Crisis Management, Subject Restraint Training).
