Job summary

FCC is seeking a Loans Analyst in Canada to support sales teams by preparing high-quality credit submissions and handling loan administration tasks. You will assess risk, structure credits and ensure compliance while partnering with Relationship Managers to meet customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or agriculture and at least four years in commercial lending with strong analytical skills; bilingual English/French is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business,economicsor agriculture.
  • Minimumfour years of experience in commercial lending(or a combination of education and experience).
  • Solid understanding of agriculture and agribusiness financial structures.
  • Experienceassessingcomplex credit scenarios.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships with colleagues and customers.
  • Experience with portfolio management and loan administration.
  • Proficiencywith common software applications and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer information and prepare clear,accuratecredit submissions
  • Establish conditions,covenantsand security requirements within approved guidelines
  • Confirm all credit requests meet policy before moving them forward for approval
  • Support Relationship Managers by analyzing structure, riskand customer needs
  • Monitor loan compliance, complete accountreviewsand process administrative requests
  • Work directly with Credit Management to structure, assess and recommend loan terms
  • Connect with customers as needed to clarify details or gatheradditionalinformation
  • Research industry and enterprise trends to strengthenagricultureknowledge
  • Collaborate with internal partners to serve customers effectively
