About the role

TMF Group is looking to expand its Global Loan Administration team based in Halifax to support our Private Equity portfolio in North America by adding a Loan Administrator Manager to perform the following activities :

Key Responsibilities :

• Proficient in all aspect of loan administration workflows including, security master creation, trade processing, notice processing, reconciliations.
• Perform complex loan activities.
• Process broadly syndicated loans including validate process settlement mechanics and interpret Lender of record.
• Client facing for routine loans activity and within internal clients.
• Co-ordinate deadlines and multiple client requirements across team of operators.
• Monitor client requests and manage escalated items.

Key Requirements :

• BA University degree or 4th year student;
• Education background in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Loans background required, including system knowledge and experience in reading / interpreting loan docs.
• Background in managing staff or evidencing qualities to grow into staff management role.
• Desirable knowledge on Sentry, LoanIQ, Solvas, and related systems.
