Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in loan administration, financial analysis, or security management within a Financial Institution.

A career as a Compliance Advisor on the Credit Capital Markets (CCM) Loan Administration - Covenant & Security team at National Bank involves providing trusted advice to internal and external parties. You will leverage your Loan Administration experience to positively impact the organization.

Your job responsibilities include:

  • Review executed legal documents to ensure compliance with financial covenants and reporting requirements for corporate borrowers.
  • Control and monitor security documentation as outlined in Credit Agreements.
  • Identify risks related to borrowers and clients of Credit Capital Markets by following established procedures.
  • Propose solutions to meet client needs, considering various cases and operational limitations.
  • Collaborate with different sectors of the Bank, interpret information, and advise on complex situations.
  • Support loan cycle activities from initiation to completion, ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Participate actively in team efforts, sharing insights and fostering a positive work environment.

About your team:

You will join a team of 20 colleagues in the CCM Toronto office, reporting to the Senior Manager of CCM Loan Administration. The team is known for its entrepreneurial spirit, courage, and passion for people. We support your work-life balance through a hybrid work model.

Prerequisites:

  • A 3-year Professional College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with 3-4 years of experience in Commercial or Capital Markets sectors.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in loan administration, financial analysis, or security management within a Financial Institution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Loan IQ system is an asset.
