Reporting to the Foreman, the Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a loader. The operator transports aggregates or other materials to stockpile aggregates for water and sewer installation projects.

How You’ll Add Value
  • Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
  • Operate the loader with various attachments such as a front-mounted, hydraulically powered bucket or scoop
  • Handle materials and transport them safely on public and private roadways
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment, including routine cleaning and upkeep
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity
  • Operate additional heavy equipment as required to support project needs
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience operating a loader in heavy civil construction
  • Physically capable of safely lifting and carrying 25 lbs regularly
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
  • Willingness to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods as needed
