Job summary

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for the BHP Jansen Wet Mill project in Jansen, SK. You will operate crane equipment, drive to site, set up for lifts, and mentor apprentices while maintaining Aecon's safety standards.

Must hold CSTS-20 and be fluent in English. The role requires full-time availability with a 14x7 schedule, camp-on-site, and competitive hourly pay. Camp and allowances provided per prejob requirements.

Position Overview

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi-disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services including piping, insulation, scaffolding, and module fabrication. We’re always on the search for exceptional craft candidates to fill our ever-expanding project portfolios. Key Responsibilities

• Operators manipulate many pedals and levers to rotate the crane and raise and lower its boom and one or more load lines.
• May drive the crane to the job site, rig the machine up (pin the boom and pendant cables and pull the hoist cable in preparation for operation).
• Set up the machine for the lift (i.e., make it level and stable) using blocking and leveling materials.
• Journeyperson may mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.

Requirements And Experience

• CSTS-20 Certificate
• Experience as a Crane Operator in an industrial construction environment.
• Proven ability to operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
• Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Location: Jansen, SK

Rate: $40.80 to $51.00 per hour

Overtime: As per Collective agreement

Schedule: 14x7, 11 hour days

Camp: Yes

Allowances: Per prejob, travel allowance based on proof of residency
