Job description

Millar Western’s Slave Lake Pulp Division is seeking a highly motivated Loader Operator to join the yard team. This individual will support chip pad and yard operations, including loader work, road maintenance, burner feeding, sludge loading, and ensuring safe, reliable chip supply to the mill. They must be committed to workplace safety and will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our facility and our safety program. This position is a shift position working rotating 12 hour shifts of both days and nights.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment, prior experience working in a manufacturing facility and an excellent safety record. The successful candidate will be required to have a valid drivers license and Grade 12 education.
