Job description

The Operations Services Manager (OSM) leads a team to ensure efficient management and timely completion of operations and client deliverables. This involves overseeing colleagues and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and overseeing resources for aligned operations. This includes creating resource plans for future business requirements throughout the year.
  • Attending governance meetings and schedule periodic check-ins with client contacts to discuss issues or concerns.
  • Cultivating relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Leading change management and consistent delivery of key messages across aligned Operations Teams.
  • Collaborating across Payroll and Cloud Services to champion an environment of 'one team, team'.
  • Ensuring achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across aligned Operations teams.
  • Coordinating with Client Services Manager to mitigate financial impacts of Errors and Omissions (E&Os)
  • Identifying effective cost management practices; implement operational improvements.
  • Achieving Global Sourcing and automation targets, in partnership with the Operations Services Director.

Requirements

  • 5 years team leadership with proven success in operations and client deliverables
  • Experience with in-depth knowledge of functional area such as Leave of Absence or Payroll related.
  • Able to lead and thrive in a demanding environment adapt to frequent change with urgency and setting priorities for aligned teams.
  • Demonstrate effective coaching and team development skills.
  • Demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to build lasting relations with client contacts and internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Possess excellent computer skills with current technical knowledge
  • 2 years people management experience
