Job summary

Woodfibre LNG Project is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, contracting, warehousing and LNG operations support in Vancouver, with travel to Squamish as required. The role reports to Head of Procurement and SCM and will drive SAP implementation and successful transition from construction to operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 10+ years in contracts and procurement, with strong negotiation skills and experience across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field.
• 10+ years of contracts management and procurement experience, preferably in oil & gas.
• 5+ years managing contracts with knowledge of contract laws and drafting clauses.
• Hands-on SAP experience or other ERP systems.
• Experience coordinating with multiple business units across operations.
• Strong negotiation skills and owner mentality.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the WLNG Procurement team, responsible for procurement, contracting, warehousing, subcontract requirements, and LNG Operations requirements.
• Provide strategic support and insights to Head of Procurement & SCM on executive reporting for better business decision making.
• Steward end-to-end contracting and procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, shipping, and warehousing.
• Manage strategic sourcing and supplier qualification, optimizing sourcing strategies and relationships.
• Procure goods and services for Business Units in line with budget and plan.
• Manage Procure to Pay end-to-end process ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
• Manage contract administration and supplier performance.
• Prepare regular reports on contracts, shipments, and warehousing activities.
• Resolve contract payment and compliance disputes when needed.
• Support SAP procurement rollout and continuous improvement projects.
