Job summary

Eurofins Canada Environment Testing in Ottawa is seeking a Laboratory IT Support Technician to maintain LIMS configurations, create analytical packages, and support day-to-day IT needs in the laboratory. You will troubleshoot hardware, assist users, and collaborate with IT and lab teams to keep systems running, validate and document upgrades, and help manage equipment inventories.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows and terminology preferred.
• The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, a fast learner, and preferably has experience or knowledge in LIMS and/or chemistry.

Job Description

The Laboratory IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) configuration and supporting day-to-day laboratory IT needs. This role includes, but is not limited to, creating analytical packages, custom test lists, and updating regulatory guidelines within LIMS.
