Job summary

Western University is seeking a Residence Life Coordinator for its housing division. This full-time live-in role focuses on programming and residence life services to support student growth and community safety.

The position requires a university degree and 2 years in residence life, with leadership and strong organizational, customer service and administrative skills. It is a 32-month temporary contract with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• University degree including studies in Behavioural Sciences, Social Sciences and/or Education.
• 2 years experience in residence life with demonstrated leadership experience in a residence setting.
• Work experience demonstrating organizational, customer service and administrative competence.
• 1 year previous professional residence experience preferred.
• Previous experience supervising others and front-line operations experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of programming initiatives and residence life services designed to foster personal growth and maximize the potential for student success.
• Support initiatives related to residence safety and community building, as well as provide leadership and management to a team of student-staff, refer students to campus resources, and complete administrative duties.
• The Residence Life Coordinator is a full-time live-in staff member whose priorities align with divisional strategic directions and goals.
