Job summary

Integracare is seeking Certified PSWs to provide in-home care to clients in Toronto in a live-in capacity. The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to support daily living activities for clients in their homes.

You will join a team recognized for excellence, with access to paid online training, PPE, and ongoing mentorship, plus a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate from a government funded or NACC accredited college.
• RPN or RN students with minimum placement experience.
• Must be available to work on weekends (i.e. every weekend or alternate weekends).

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and stimulation to clients with various conditions.
• Advocate for clients’ needs.
• Monitor and report any changes to the client’s condition.
• Assist clients with ADLs including meal preparation, personal care, bathing and safe transfers.
• Ensure the privacy and dignity of clients while providing care.
• Live at the client's home for extended periods of time.
• Create moments of joy for clients during your care.
• Provide care to the Client during the day (with adequate breaks).

Education
