Job summary

Wee Care Placement Agency in Thornhill, ON is seeking a live-in caregiver for a person with disabilities. You will help with transportation to programs and appointments, prepare meals, assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility, and provide full companionship while keeping safety at home.

The role includes light laundry, cooking, and tidying. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, paying $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–7 months caregiving experience required.
• Completion of high school diploma required.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Take the person to programs and appointments.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living tasks.

Live-In Caregiver Needed For A Person With Disabilities – Thornhill, ON

We require care for a person with disabilities.

To take her to programs, and appointments, give meals, help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and full companionship, and to maintain safety at all times. Laundry, cooking, and light tidy required.

Location: Thornhill, ON

Hours are 9:0Am to 3:00PM

$22.00/ hr, 40 hours per week. Monday- Friday
This is a permanent position

1-7 months experience, and completion of high school diploma required.

Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, people with disabilities with appropriate experience, and the ability to speak and read English.
