Job summary

Electronic Arts in Vancouver is seeking a Live Content Designer for EA Sports NHL to craft and deliver engaging live content in a fast-paced AAA environment. You will collaborate with the NHL Live Team and producers to translate real-world hockey events into timely content, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.

The role demands a genuine hockey passion, strong product usability sense, and cross-team collaboration across Marketing, QA, and development to keep players engaged and the product

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year background in game design and/or production with relevant experience working on a live service.
• Knowledge of Hockey and a genuine passion for the sport is a requirement.
• Good eye for product quality and usability; willingness to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with NHL Live Team to build and execute on the live content plan.
• Responsible for executing content plan, meeting deadlines and quality levels for live content.
• Translate real-world events into live content ideas/plans on short notice, potentially requiring flexible hours.
• Define goals for live content based on KPIs.
• Collaborate with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes.
• Communicate progress and quality with the NHL team.
• Develop strong engagements with other groups (Marketing/QA, etc.).
• Coordinate deliverables across teams and maintain team morale.
