LITIGATION PARALEGAL

In our General Litigation department, you work hand-in-hand with our attorneys to provide daily administrative support. Your positive, can-do attitude makes you a joy to work with for both clients and staff alike. While you are organized and love the satisfaction of getting things done, you are also a people person and enjoy interacting with clients, the courts, and colleagues throughout your workday. Though you are self-directed and able to work independently, you are also a team player who collaborates well with everyone at the firm to make things happen for our clients. You feel great about working for an ethical firm where customer service is a priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Drafting discovery demands and responses to discovery
  • Working with legal assistant to monitor discovery and file necessary motions
  • Maintaining digital filing
  • Maintaining insurance company guidelines in data management systems
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Record and store client information

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
  • Paralegal certification or related relevant job experience
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm position.
