Location: Downtown Edmonton | Full-Time, In-Office (Parking Provided)

We are excited to support the recruitment of a Legal Assistant for a well-respected, established law firm recognized for its professionalism, trust, and welcoming, family-oriented culture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small, close-knit team and wants to contribute to a supportive and positive work environment.

In this role, you’ll provide critical support to a Partner across a variety of files, with a primary focus on Family Law and Civil Litigation. This is more than a traditional administrative role—our ideal candidate is confident, experienced, and capable of managing files independently, performing responsibilities akin to a paralegal.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a variety of files, primarily in Family Law and Civil Litigation.
  • Support occasional litigation files in Commercial Civil, Real Estate, Aboriginal Law, and limited Criminal matters.
  • Prepare, draft, and manage court documents and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain client files and deadlines.

  • Competitive salary with 3 weeks’ vacation to start, increasing to 4 weeks.

  • Standard hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (~37.5 hrs/week) with little to no overtime.
