We are seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, advocating for clients in personal injury and disability matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with medical professionals and leverage our unique in-house resources to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a caseload of personal injury and disability files from case opening to resolution.
  2. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court proceedings.
  3. Collaborate with our in-house medical team to develop comprehensive case strategies.
  4. Provide exceptional client service, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  5. Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  1. Current or incoming member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
  2. Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
