ARCH seeks a permanent, full-time, skilled and passionate litigator committed to advancing social justice, disability rights, and full inclusion to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfill all the duties of an ARCH staff lawyer, with a focus on complex human rights applications, judicial reviews, appellate, and Charter test case litigation. The lawyer will also be expected to supervise litigation files and provide guidance and mentoring to ARCH’s law students. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to ARCH’s mandate, knowledge of social justice and systemic barriers facing disability communities, and extensive experience litigating and providing legal services to persons with disabilities. Travel throughout Ontario may be required. This is an in-person position based on-site at ARCH’s offices in Toronto.
The salary range is $107,372 - $124,990 commensurate with level of experience and year of call, along with comprehensive health and dental benefits, three weeks of vacation, and a defined benefit pension plan.
