Bilingual Litigation Lawyer
Salary based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research, assess cases, identify issues, and develop strategies
- Draft legal documents for court proceedings
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations
- Conduct discovery, execution, and cross-examinations
- Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution
- Offer legal advice, address concerns, and protect client interests
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and case law
- Uphold ethics and confidentiality
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience practicing as a Litigation Lawyer in Canada
- Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Ability to be both a self-starter and team player
- Engaged in business development
- Excellent technical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
